"My making music began early, too. If one
has a music teacher as a
father, one can´t avoid being exposed to that subject. It started with
recorder and went on with transverse flute. I was about 16 when I
dicovered the guitar. Learning a bit bass and piano was also necessary
to record songs, which is exactly what I did.
Playing instruments
was also helpful in the army. While the others cleaned the tanks, we
could rehearse with our band. For one gig we received one free day. I
didn't ever clean a tank! I focussed less on music for a while after
that. Painting became a priority. "
